 OVERCOMING CHALLENGES

Sometimes in life, things become so burdensome that one may think or see that the world is not in favor of them.

This week's learning on overcoming challenges has given me another way I can face life's challenges as an entrepreneur and how to balance my fears so that they eventually turn into strengths. One of the videos about "You can do all things." that I watched had a quote saying that you shouldn't underestimate yourself. This teaches me that no matter what I face, I should never give up on life or on things that will elevate me.

I have come to understand and learn about some concepts and would like to share three of them. They are, "You can do anything; good things to come; and however long and hard the road." Elder Holland, one of the leaders of the church, said, and I quote, "Don't you quit! You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead. Some blessings come soon. Some come late, and some don't come till heaven. But for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come. It will be alright in the end. Trust God, and believe in good things to come." This clearly teaches all three concepts I learned this week: As an entrepreneur, I should hope for the best no matter how far or difficult things are. The blessings of God come in bit by bit until a man attains his full blessings.

My greatest challenge in business is the ability to stay consistent in the business market. I have seen many businesses that have collapsed because of inconsistency. I believe I will fail if my products are no longer popular in society or if they are not recognized, and I will eventually collapse.

My family and friends can help me come out of this by continuously seeking out ways to let my products reach more people and increasing the level of customers, the frequency of purchase, and the average order. I know that the challenges I may face are there to strengthen me and help me learn new ways of helping solve human issues. Trusting in the Lord will give me the ability to continue pressing forward. I have come to understand that the challenges are not when you are doing something, but when one is not trying to face his fears and come up with new ways to approach search business situations.

MOVING FORWARD: A DRIVING PASSION

                            STAND TRUE AND FAITHFUL - HABIT

Habits are the small decisions you make and actions you perform every day. As an entrepreneur, there is a common attribute that should be exhibited all the and this frequent doing becomes a habit.

According to Stephen R. Covey, seven habits should be possessed by every individual in life. They are: Be Proactive, Begin with the End in Mind, First Things First, Think Win-win, First seek to understand and to be understood, and lastly Create Synergy.

To be proactive is to go the extra mile of activeness in participating in a daily routine and achieve great things. It was one of the challenges I faced for some years as a student. Sometimes, I feel that what I am doing is enough but I am not being proactive. I learned to continue being active in any activity I found myself doing. 

Beginning with the end in mind is one of the greatest experiences I have ever had in life. There is a current project going on for which a friend of mine called me to join and help make the project successful. The only thing that came to the project first was to start with the end in mind. Having the end in mind best treats every plan to be executed and become successful. Always have the first things placed in your heart and become honest in every activity performed be it a business transaction or being trusted by a person. As an entrepreneur, I have to think win-win and never be negative about my life. Be positive about any business transaction, be positive about life, and be positive about a plan to be executed. Seek to understand and to be understood is another principle that helps a man or an entrepreneur seeking to study and dive well inside knowledge and acquire wisdom through constant nourishment. Creating synergy.

Be true and honest to yourself, God, and potential customers so trading will work out to be great.

 

BE AN ENTREPRENEUR

BEING AN ENTREPRENEUR – THE GREATEST STEP

This week's lesson has made me rethink being an entrepreneur and how that goal can be achieved.

The three concepts I learned, will help me to step up and more things to arrive at the said goal. The three are self-mastery, accepting and magnifying my calling, and being active with my mentor.

As an entrepreneur, I need to master things that I am capable of doing and have self-control over certain things that will enable my abilities to be showcased. Sometimes it becomes so complicated that giving becomes an option but always know that my emotions are negative and when followed will hinder my progression as an entrepreneur. I being an entrepreneur, should be able to identify and quickly have ways to address the issues I face. Goals will be accomplished when I accept and magnify church callings or accept to do the Lord’s will. I have seen countless times when attending to the Lord’s work has helped solve issues that I was battling with. It has always become a norm to serve diligently and honestly because it is through that, that I will find solace in my life challenge even as an entrepreneur. In everything I do in this life, God’s own first – never allowing my schedule to override the Lord’s work or my calling in the church. Be true to the Lord and serve my fellow beings by magnifying my calling.

To conclude, always seek advice and learn from my mentor. This is the trend of myself becoming an entrepreneur and one that the Lord cherishes. It is always good to fall back on my mentor for more ways to battle my life out. Apply these in my life, will help me become an entrepreneur for the people and not a self entrepreneur.

MASTERY — SKILL, CHARACTER OR LUCK?

PERSEVERANCE - ENTREPRENEUR'S CHARACTER

"Perseverance is continuing to do something despite obstacles or difficulties. It is one of the best qualities to have because with perseverance success in your endeavors is almost guaranteed."

In every person's life is the roar of endurance to pursue a course in this mortality and its circus. Most people think a person with skills, character, and/or Luck can succeed in this life.

An entrepreneur may possess all these qualities but in the absence of Perseverance, will not make them successful. My knowledge has widened and gain more understanding of how one needs to work his everything out that the improvement may be seen in each individual's life. In the course of perseverance, choosing the entrepreneur's heroes journey and finding your path in life is sometimes devastating. You must press forward and become so true to the core values created by you and labor with all your might, being smart as well. 

For I have come to know that not only skill, talent and or character will validate one's progress but all is needed for an entrepreneur's journey and path to come to reality. It may seen so tough, unfriendly, unwelcoming but it is always glorious when you come to know and find your gem in life and become a rockstar of your own.

Remember, there is one who cares for us and seeks our progression daily so we become role models to other people, even Heavenly Father. Everything lesson learned this week has given me another course charting my way out to success and becoming happy in life. This is knowledge derived from this week's Learning Mastery.
